MAZDA FAN FESTA 2015 in OKAYAMA to be Held on December 6th
(Host: Okayama International Circuit, Administrator: B-Sports, Special Sponsor: Mazda Motor Corporation)
This year the centerpiece will be a full-scale model of the “Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo” that makes an appearance in the “real driving simulator,” PlayStation 3’s Gran Truismo 6. This was the model that appeared alongside the Mazda 787B replica on the massive central feature monument at the Goodwood Festival of Speed held in the UK in June.
As with previous years old and new race cars, such as the JSPC spec Mazda 787B, which took overall victory at Le Mans, the R100 (Familia Rotary Coupe) that ran at Spa-Francorchamps, the Savanna RX-3, RX-7s, and other race spec machines will be performing demo runs. Roadsters and Demios currently competing in the Super Taikyu will also be running on the track.
Those who turn out will not just be looking from the sidelines, there are also numerous events where fans can participate. Fans will get the chance to experience driving on Okayama International Circuit in events such as the parade run, time attack, endurance race, as well as enjoy test rides on the mini-course. On top of that on the stage there will be live performances, participatory games and a preliminary event with numerous guests on the eve of the festival.
