Notice about “Mazda Fan Festa in Okayama 2013”
Mazda Fan Festa, the yearly festival for Mazda fans, will be held this year on Sunday, December 8th, at Okayama International Circuit. The event will be held by Okayama Circuit and managed by B-Sports, and MZRacing will also actively participate through the operation of store booths and the planning of various events.
The first running of the event, held last year, was a great success, with many Mazda fans in attendance despite the snowy weather conditions. The track never saw a dull moment, with events such as legendary rotary machines that had once dominated the Japanese and international racing scenes on display, exclusive races featuring racing machines, time attacks for Mazda owners, officially sanctioned competitive racing such as the Mazda Fan Endurance Race, not to mention parade runs that saw participation by the Axela Owner's Club and Cosmo Sports Owner's Club. The second event, to be held this year, will be even more powered up. Updated event specifics will be posted on MZRacing's official Facebook page and Twitter account. Plans to display new Mazda models and a tournament featuring the “Shakin' Racer” smartphone racing app that can be enjoyed by both adults and children are in the works as well. Many active Mazda racing drivers and Mazda alumni are also scheduled to appear.
