Patrick Dempsey has donated his signed Mazda racing suit to the Dan Wheldon Memorial Auction. The racing suit was worn when Patrick drove demonstration runs of the Mazda 787B at the Circuit de la Sarthe earlier this year for the 20th anniversary of Mazda's overall Le Mans 24 Hours victory. It is being auctioned off on the online auction site eBay, with bidding active until 18:16 on November 17th PST.

The Dan Wheldon Memorial Auction will be held in honour of the late IndyCar Driver's Champion and two-time Indianapolis 500 Winner Dan Wheldon. All proceeds will benefit the Dan Wheldon Family Trust Fund, a taxable trust fund for the benefit of the Wheldon family.
