On January 30th, the "HKS PREMIUM DAY in FUJI SPEEDWAY" event will be held at Fuji International Speedway. This event consists of the Time Attack, run by skilled domestic tuners on the main course and the OPTION FUJI SPEED MAX, a competition for outright maximum speed on the main straight.

There will be a total of 25 vehicles entered. The most common machine used is the FD3S-model RX-7, eight of which are set to appear. Well-known tuners RE: Amemiya, PAN SPEED, R Magic, FAM SPEED and others will be bringing their strongest machines to this event.

The cold weather causes an engine's charging efficiency and thus power output to increase, which means that precise engine settings - which bring power unit output right to their limits - will be essential to winning. This is the perfect opportunity for each tuner to show off their unique skills. We hope you will also look forward to MZRacing's reports on the scale of the battle - which we are planning to bring to you on the actual day of the race.

RE: Amemiya Motors' Isami Amemiya's conmment:
"The machine that we will have participating is the 'Turbo Boost Pressure Increase' Unit 9, which was also exhibited at Auto Salon. Since we exhibited eight vehicles at Auto Salon, it was tough - both physically and due to time constraints, but since the 'Hurricane 7' received an award (the prestigious event's Tuning Car Class Excellence Prize), it was well worth it. Of course, we are going all-out with our attack at Fuji. As stated in MZRacing's comments, since this year we will be entering the RX-8 in Time Attack at each circuit and also in D1 Grand Prix, we hope you'll be there to cheer us on!"
